Sorry, Todd, but this isn't true. You are definitely allowed to take one of the offers. You do no re-fill the offers, though. Thus, only one player can take the Franc offer as his final action.

That's what I get for not getting up and looking at my rulebook - I couldn't remember and used this file:

Its a bug then. A couple times I ended up shipping all my remaining resources the turn before so on the final play I wanted to take the 12 francs sitting there. Not possible though on iPad.

I agree LeHavre is excellent for two players, although I also enjoy the additional buildings you have at your disposal with three players.

I see we're matched up in a 2 player iOS game at this very moment, so.... good luck! :D

In the Version 1.26 of JLeHavre (solo play), the Marketplace is limited to 4 standard goods, even though you own more than 2 Craftsman's buildings.
Has this been reported or do I miss something?

It's the expert rule. In solo games, the Marketplace gives you max. 4 goods. To change this, go into the Settings Window before starting a game. There's an option to increase this number.

The first option is correct. You can only switch their relative order at the top of the stack. So:

Jack, if you're listening, I'll necro this out to ask how you determine this. I could have sworn I saw a thread stating you can place the cards anywhere in the stack; you just can't look at the other cards in the stack. With an inital seeding of A - B - C - D - E - F, you look at A and B, and I like to place A on top and B below F, or even place B between C and D.

If you can only rearrage to the original order or B-A-C-D-E-F, then why is the special card stack six cards instead of five. I may be dense here, but under the "you can only put the two back on top" method you'll never have a chance to play the bottom card of the stack, right? (Only four cards are played during a game?)

I had 4 ships and only Coke to pay with. I wanted to use 1 coke to ship with 3 ships but the game kept saying I was overpaying to to check again.

Is this a rule in the boardgame I overlooked? Can I not overpay when using energy?

1 coke to fuel three ships is a pretty ordinary move in Le Havre. If the iOS version won't allow it, that's a coding oversight.

I haven't had any issues using coke to pay for several ships in the iOS app so it must be a bug caused by something else if you are having issues.

Yeah, I haven't had that problem. I've overpaid for both energy and food. Maybe you are accidentally trying to over-overpay (e.g. 2 coke for 3 ships)? That should probably be legal, but since there is literally no reason to do it, they might have decided to throw an error.

It was very specific. I only had Coke, no other energy available to me. It said I could use up to 12 energy. I selected a single coke, it showed I was paying with 10 energy, but kept saying I was overpaying. I ended up taking wood instead, and shipped with 12 energy on my next turn.

I was able to replicate this. I had 4 ships and tried to use the shipping line paying one coke. The game refused saying I was overpaying. It WOULD allow me to pay 2 coke and ship on 4 ships, but not one for 3.

about the buggy ship cards.. if you tap on it (where it is not supposed to be) and hit the X on the blank close up, it goes away.

Yes, this happened to me several times. 1 coke when you have 3 ships works, but some other combinations, not so much.

This is a bug in the game. I reported it the day they fixed a different shipping bug. No response about it being fixed yet.

The bug occurs when only paying for three ships while you have four. So if you never have four ships, you will never see the bug.

You place the two cards you've got back in any order. You do not re-order all the cards. You may think the latter might be more fun, but it isn't. The option to peek at the topmost two cards is there to allow players forming strategies upon what is coming. If I can bury a card you're playing towards anywhere in the stack, believe me, this is not fun.

Yeah, the game forces you to use all your ships on the Shipping Line. This is a bug and surely will be removed in a future update.
