by Ponton IIRC, over the course of a two-player game you pay like 170 food. That's a lot of food. If you ignore feeding your worker for a couple of rounds, you'd quickly end up with quite a few loans....

by Senorjefe Dont forget that you also have to pay the 1 franc interest on the loan(s). So if you spend the francs from the loan, by say feeding at the end of the round, you may (fairly easily I find)...
