You need feed your people (the cooking pot value) at the end each round.Feed them by spending fish(1)/salted fish(2) or bread(2) or steak(3)
Energy (bulbs) are neeed to 'power' the card, usually by burning wood/charcoal or coal/coke.
you spend these resources to feed people and or generate power.
