Hello Everyone, and Hi BJ Buracker(stupidscholar), your inserts look very good too. I will like to share my home-made stuffs too.
First of all I will like to thanks Jeremy Sydik(jsydik) for his wonderful Le Havre "Crates" art he did. This is not foam core inserts but some component boxes I made using Mounting Board. Thanks to Jeremy Sydik(jsydik)Le Havre "Crates" art it help improve the look of my component boxes. By the way here is the link for Sydik(jsydik)Le Havre "Crates" if anyone are interested - https://www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/99760/le-havre-crates
1) First get the measurement and mark it out on the mounting board. Print and laminate the art work crate you selected to do.

2) Left is the component box cover which is 4mm bigger than the base box which is on the right.

3) Cut out the mounting board accordingly.

4) Close up

5) Remove the 4 corners from the mounting board that is going to be box cover and base, as shown on the picture below.

For the box cover, there's an extra step that we need to do. We need to mark out small triangle at 2 sides and cut out the small triangle(refer to the pictures below).

Some of you may ask why do we need to make that small triangle out and cut it. The reason is very simple, this is done so to enable us to open the box easily (refer to picture 9).
6) Turn over and cut deep enough that you are able to turn in the 4 sides. Be very careful when you cut, you may accidentally slice of the sides. It should be just deep enough.

Tape the 4 corners so it form into a box.

7) Cut the laminated picture of the crates accordingly.

8) Glued the pictures accordingly to the component boxes. I used UHU glue to glued the pictures to the component box I made.

9) Once the base have been glued with the appropriate crate picture, we test out the box cover and it is a perfect fit. Do take note the small triangle cut out for the cox cover, which I already explain earlier the reason why.

10) Now its the box cover turn to be glued with the crate art work.

Close up, it looks pretty good.

11) Now the base and box cover is ready. I have fill the box with tiles that is meant for the component box.

12) Now the tiles are safely stored in my homemade component box.
Completed the first 2 boxes.

13) By the end of the week I've completed all the boxes for each different components.

14) All fit nicely into the base game box.

Had a 2 players session with my gaming buddy and it looks pretty good.

Thank you everyone for taking your time looking thru my thread. I will like to thanks Jeremy Sydik(jsydik) again for his wonderful Le Havre "Crates" art he did. Without his artwork, my component boxes will look very plain.
Regards
Fatah.
