Fair enough, we're just all very confused how you managed to pull such a perfect storm of building off, it seems impossible ^^
Edit:What were your scores? Thinking back now, I suppose it is possible for people to finish building if everyone ignores processing goods for profit. It would result in much lower scores, but I suppose it could be done.

We didn't really count our scores. We were so flabbergasted by the terribleness of the game that we just quit without thinking twice. We were not really busy with selling goods and stuff, no. But that would be the only thing about left to do in the rounds we had left. And we thought that was way too boring.
Hmm, well, the game is about the upgrading and selling of goods to make money, that's rather the point. If it sounds boring it may just not be the game for you?
One more possible check:The Ipad version of the game is $5, you could snag that and try it out to see if that experience matches your tabletop experience.
No, we like eurogames. My husbands favorite game is Agricola, so this should be right up our alley. And in 2p games it is. It's just that the 3p game was so different.
Gonna buy it and check out. Thanks for the tip !
No worries. Hope it helps! :) The math just doesn't seem to bear out, especially if your 2p games were good. In Le Havre adding a third player doesn't add 1/3 more actions. You go from 14 to 18 rounds, which means you're going from 108(+2 end of game actions) to 126(+3 end of game actions) but all your actions are going to be less efficient because there's another person taking the thing you wanted to take, or you'll settle for a smaller pile of resources just so it's not gone.
