Yes it's nerdy but yes we have all done it or at least thought about it.I got married to Betsy 5 years ago in April and on our honeymoon to the south of France. Where we spent 1 day in Carcassone looking around the lovely ancient city. Betsy got very excited and suggested play Carcassonne... In Carcassonne! Well I thought this was a excellent idea so on one of the walls we settled to play. I was a fun thing to tick of the bucket list and since then we've discussed various game combos from our collection we would like to do:
Ticket to Ride on a train
Le Havrein Le Havre
Colosseum in the middle of a real colosseum
Or the ultimate Fields of Arle in Arle! (We are doing this after Essen this year)
Recently we have booked a long weekend to Berlin, this is our first weekend holiday since we had a child. To celebrate we would like to play a regional game from the area/city. Betsy hates war games and anything to along those themes (so no Twillight struggle...)
Unfortunately after a brief search I can't seem to find and none war games for Berlin. Does anyone have any suggestions to what we could play?
Has anyone else done this and played a game in its natural habitat?
