Except for the setup differences, the solo rules and scoring are identical to those of any other player count. See: Exact solo game setupStarting offers for the shortened version of the game are stocked as listed in the red box on the bottom of page 2. The game begins with those resources (3 Francs, 3 fish, etc.) instead of the usual lesser amount listed in box #6 on the same page (2 Francs, 2 fish, etc.).
