Sure, it is definitely not from any perceived deficiency within the game. The thought is that one could set up a strategy by trying to get cards that benefit them to come out earlier or cards that don't help their strategy to come out later or try to get certain cards to be built by the town. And then, if one is going third for instance, and may begin with taking an offer, you could put the offer token of your choice on the third position.It may not make enough of a difference to justify the time it would take but I won't know until I try and I wouldn't ask anyone else to try it until I have unless they really want to. Just looking for thoughts. I'm usually not a house rule guy but this doesn't change the game all that much. it just maybe tips the decision scale a little bit more towards the strategic rather than the tactical (not that that was an issue anyway.)
I'll report after my wife and I have tried it in a short game.
