I spot checked a couple and don't see it available anywhere yet. It doesn't show anywhere on boardgameprices.com yet either.

BoardGameBliss.com in Canada has a note up that it will be available for orders later tonight.

6 F to buy (minor action)

To BUILD the marketplace using one of the construction buildings costs 2 Wood. To BUY the Marketplace (not requiring an action) costs 6 francs.

So if you build the building do you not score the six points or how do you differentiate between what you've built and what you've bought?

Either way you get the six points.

You never need to distinguish between what you built and what you bought; they are all equally yours.

Definitely, and it can often be a wise move if it's a critical building action!

Yes, and similarly, you can sell one of your buildings you are on to the town and then use it immediately.

More generally:

Buying and selling buildings always kicks out any occupants.

So if an opponent is on a town building you want, you can buy it and then use it.

Or if they are on one of your buildings, and you really need to use it, you can sell it back to the town and then use it.

So.. I've played Le Havre last week for the first time with 3 players. And it was terrible. I've played it only with 2 people before and that was awesome. 3 people was... Well all the common buildings were built and we were only halfway through the round. Did we fuck something terribly up? Or is the end game just that boring?

It definitely seems like you messed something up if you managed to do that. However without knowing what you did it would be hard to tell you what you did wrong.

I think that something is wrong. How did you build all of the steel buildings that quick?

The 3 player game is fine and in my opinion the best number with 2 being 2nd best.
