Just move your ship 1 space each turn, and either place your token in a building or take the offer space goods for the location the ship is next too. Nothing complicated, do not use additional ships, just a nice slow walk down the wharf.

You can take any offer. You are never required to take the offer next to your ship.

That is how much the good is worth if you ship it on ships using the Shipping Line.

The F represents the goods value if you ship it.

They are the earnings you receive when you ship the goods. The information is on the Shipping Line card and on each tile for easy reference.

I recall there being a misprint somewhere but I don't remember exactly what it was. Is there a misprint of an item value on the shipping line card itself or is the value misprinted on one of the goods?

Some early editions of Le Havre did have a misprint on the shipping line card, for either Coal or Coke (I can't remember which - I think Coke). The Grand Hameau expansion came with a replacement card for the shipping line with corrected values.

I do not know if the misprint is corrected in the current edition.

The tokens themselves do not have these errors.

Spoke with my FLGS last week. The owner called his distributor while I was in the store. According to Alliance Gaming (distributor), Mayfair's US version of Le Havre, which has a streetdate of March 16 advertised on the website, is actually expected May 1, 2017. According to them, Mayfair has yet to update their website, and the May 1 date is expected, not guaranteed. I don't believe the game has gone into printing rounds yet.

And so we continue to wait...

Hello Everyone,

and Hi Matthew Mayes(Kcrash5), your foam core inserts look very good. I will like to share my home-made stuffs too.

First of all I will like to thanks Jeremy Sydik(jsydik) for his wonderful Le Havre "Crates" art he did. This is not foam core inserts but some component boxes I made using Mounting Board. Thanks to Jeremy Sydik(jsydik)Le Havre "Crates" art it help improve the look of my component boxes. By the way here is the link for Sydik(jsydik)Le Havre "Crates" if anyone are interested - https://www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/99760/le-havre-crates

1) First get the measurement and mark it out on the mounting board. Print and laminate the art work crate you selected to do.

2) Left is the component box cover which is 4mm bigger than the base box which is on the right.

3) Cut out the mounting board accordingly.

4) Close up
Component box cover

Component box base

5) Remove the 4 corners from the mounting board that is going to be box cover and base, as shown on the picture below.

For the box cover, there's an extra step that we need to do. We need to mark out small triangle at 2 sides and cut out the small triangle(refer to the pictures below).

Some of you may ask why do we need to make that small triangle out and cut it. The reason is very simple, this is done so to enable us to open the box easily (refer to picture 9).

6) Turn over and cut deep enough that you are able to turn in the 4 sides. Be very careful when you cut, you may accidentally slice of the sides. It should be just deep enough.

7) Cut the laminated picture of the crates accordingly.

8) Glued the pictures accordingly to the component boxes. I used UHU glue to glued the pictures to the component box I made.

9) Once the base have been glued with the appropriate crate picture, we test out the box cover and it is a perfect fit. Do take note the small triangle cut out for the cox cover, which I already explain earlier the reason why.

10) Now its the box cover turn to be glued with the crate art work.

Close up, it looks pretty good.

11) Now the base and box cover is ready. I have fill the box with tiles that is meant for the component box.

12) Now the tiles are safely stored in my homemade component box.

Close up, side view.

Completed the first 2 boxes.

13) By the end of the week I've completed all the boxes for each different components.

14) All fit nicely into the base game box.

Had a 2 players session with my gaming buddy and it looks pretty good.

Thank you everyone for taking your time looking thru my thread. I will like to thanks Jeremy Sydik(jsydik) for his wonderful Le Havre "Crates" art he did. Without his artwork, my component boxes will look very plain.

Regards
Fatah.

too bad. in addition to the game setup, it sounds like something else must have been wrong to get scores ranging from 30-50. I mean, the VP values of a few buildings alone are worth more than that. You can top 30 with just a couple of buildings - even one, if you buy the bank. Did you guys not construct buildings? If you are taking the offers, then by the second round, everyone should be able to construct something. The only buildings you can't build by just taking the offers would be things that require brick. But then you just have to convert your clay using the Brick Works.

Anyway, I wonder if you missed any of these things in addition to your game setup.

By the way, the 5 outstanding loans only make you deduct 35 points during endgame scoring.
